Aesthetic Surgery Program

1. Breast Procedures: Our physicians are experts in cosmetic surgical breast procedures such as breast augmentation, breast lifts, breast reconstruction, and breast reduction. Our surgeons use state-of-the-art techniques and procedures to reconstruct breasts after cancer surgery. Patients stay at hospital for 2 days after these procedures and return to their daily activities within 7-10 days
2. Nose Procedures: Rhinoplasty or septorhinoplasty is done to change or improve appearance, to open blocked nasal passages that are caused by a deviated septum or to correct an injury or birth deformity. Patients stay in the hospital for 1 day after surgery and return to their daily activities within 7 to 10 days.
3. Browlift and Blepharoplasty: Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, rejuvenates the upper and lower eyelids through the removal or repositioning of excess skin and fat. Browlift operation restores a more youthful look to the upper eye and eyebrow. During this procedure, drooping eyebrows or brow tissues are elevated toward the upper eyelid. This procedure also can treat horizontal lines in the forehead and frown lines that can make a person appear tired or sad. The procedure can provide a more rested, youthful appearance to the eyes. Patients stay in the hospital for 1 day after surgery and return to their daily activities within a week.
4. Prominent Ear Procedure(Otoplasty): This preocedure addresses ears that are too prominent or protrude too far from the head. For many people, the positive results of otoplasty have a major impact on their self-esteem. Patients stay in the hospital for 1 day after surgery and return to their daily activities within 5 days
5. Chin Procedures (Mentoplasty): These procedures are done to reshape the chin either by enhancement with an implant or reduction surgery on the bone. Patients stay in the hospital for 1 day after surgery and return to their daily activities within 7 to 10 days.
6. Skin Procedures: These procedures include removal of scars, unwanted tattoos and irregularities on the skin. Patients stay in the hospital for 1 day after surgery and return to their daily activities within 3 days.
7. Liposuction: Liposuction slims and reshapes specific areas of the body by removing excess fat deposits and improving the body's contours and proportion. Liposuction can be performed on the abdomen, ankle, claves, buttocks and back. Patients stay in the hospital for 1 day after surgery and return to their daily activities within 10 to 15 days.
8. Abdominoplasty: Tummy-tuck or abdominoplasty is done to remove excess skin, excess fat tissue, muscle bulging in the abdomen due to genetic, pregnacy or weight changes. Patients stay in the hospital for 1 day after surgery and return to their daily activities within 10 to 15 days.
9. Body Contouring and Reshaping: Several body contouring and reshaping procedures can help when diet and exercise aren’t adequate enough to give you the look you want. These procedures include: liposuction, abdominoplasty, upper body lift, lower body lift, gynecomastia repair, panniculectomyi thighlift. Patients stay in the hospital for 1 day after surgery and return to their daily activities within 10 to 15 days.
10. Non-surgical Skin Procedures: We also offer patients several non-surgical skin care options such as Botox/Dysport and dermal fillers. These procedures is done in outpatient clinics without requiring hospital stay.

The Department of Plastic Surgery at Karadeniz Technical University offers comprehensive skeletal and soft tissue treatment for hand and wrist conditions. We provide world-class expertise in the plastic surgical and orthopaedic treatment of hand and wrist disorders in a hospital setting patients know and trust. We provide comprehensive car efor the upper extremity, including treatment for:

• Nerve compression syndromes(Carpal- Cubital Tunnel Syndrome)
• Trigger fingers
• Rheumatoid arthritis and Degenerative Arthritis
• Cysts and tumors
• Dupytren’s contracture
